Job summary

Passages Malibu in Malibu, California seeks a Licensed Psychologist for a full-time position. The role focuses on supporting recovery through holistic care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary clinical team.

• Current, valid California license in good standing with the California Board of Psychology as a Licensed Psychologist.
• Current, valid California Driver License with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy to clients.
• Conduct initial and ongoing clinical assessments to identify client needs, treatment priorities, and areas of concern.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and follow-up plans based on each client’s goals and clinical needs.
• Provide clinical interventions and support appropriate to each client’s presenting needs and treatment goals.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Support clients in developing insight, addressing underlying issues, improving coping strategies, and creating sustainable tools for recovery.
• Participate in crisis intervention and provide appropriate clinical support when needed.
• Reassess clients throughout treatment and make recommendations based on their progress and changing clinical needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with applicable standards and company policies.

We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist who is passionate about helping individuals navigate substance use, co-occurring mental health concerns, and the challenges that can accompany recovery.

As a Licensed Psychologist at Passages, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with clients throughout their treatment journey. What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a compassionate and experienced Licensed Psychologist who is passionate about helping clients understand the underlying factors contributing to substance use and supporting them through meaningful, lasting change.

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Psychology.
• Current, valid California license in good standing with the California Board of Psychology as a Licensed Psychologist.
• Current, valid California Driver License with a satisfactory driving record, as determined by company discretion.

Additional Qualifications

• Must successfully complete all applicable pre-employment requirements, including tuberculosis screening, background checks, driving record checks, drug screening, and professional reference checks.
• Ongoing screenings and monitoring may be required during employment in accordance with applicable law and company policy.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and holidays, to support the needs of a 24/7/365 healthcare facility.
