Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Psychiatric Technician certification required.
• Experience with substance use disorders or mental health issues.
• Experience in education/recovery for high-risk populations is a plus.
• Must be organized and able to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and writing skills; valid driver's license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Measures and records vital signs using standard equipment.
• Provides nursing, psychiatric, or personal care to patients.
• Collaborates with doctors, nurses and staff to treat and rehabilitate patients.
• Encourages patients to develop work skills and social activities.
• Develops strategies to promote wellness and independence.
• Administers medications per physician orders.
