Job summary

Crossroads Turning Points Inc in Pueblo West, CO is seeking a Healthcare Technician for the Circle Program on the day shift (8:00 am–4:00 pm). The role provides daily patient assistance, helps staff with unit tasks, and supports patient needs.

A pre-employment drug screen, background check, and TB test are required. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CAT certification within 18 months, CPR/First Aid, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CAT certification must be completed within 18 months of hire date.
• Experience with mentally ill and substance misuse patients preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively and follow directions.
• CPR and First-Aid certification required; agency covers training costs.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support group activities using motivational interviewing skills.
• Ensure all documentation is complete and submitted by deadlines.
• Maintain unit in an organized, clean, and efficient manner.
• Transport patients to and from appointments, support groups, and employment searches.
• Maintain security of assigned units per policy and procedures.
• Monitor patients and document activities accurately during shift.
• Report patient infractions or concerns to counselor or supervisor.
