Job summary

Abound Health is seeking a Program Specialist to oversee day, residential, and other licensed programs in Mercer, PA. You will report to the Program Director and ensure program success while promoting the well-being of individuals with IDD.

You’ll champion regulatory compliance, coordinate inspections, and support clinical and supervisory visits to uphold high-quality care. Collaboration with families and community partners will be central to your role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in IDD services or a Master's in Social Work with IDD internship/experience.
• Knowledge of 6400, 2380, and 6100 Regulations preferred.
• Strong communication with clients, families, and team members.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities with confidence and composure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines for Community Homes and Adult Training Facilities.
• Serve as the licensing expert, managing inspections, audits, and action plans.
• Lead staff through clinical and supervisory visits, with documentation.
• Review client service notes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Develop goals, task analysis, and interventions to support client potential.
• Provide training, performance evaluations, and coaching to the team.
• Connect clients and families with community resources.
