Job summary

Communicare, Inc. in Elizabethtown, KY seeks an Associate Director to assist the IDD Director and act in their absence.

You will provide high-level administrative and operational leadership to support 1915(c) waiver services, overseeing Day Training, Direct Care and Residential programs across the region. The role focuses on policy development, budget oversight, staffing, and quality improvement while ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in psychology, social work, human services, or RN license required.
• Minimum 5 years post-bachelor experience with at least 3 years in management.
• Knowledge of 1915(c) Medicaid Waiver regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 1915(c) and Medicaid compliance for Residential, ADT and Direct Care.
• Develop, implement, and monitor policies to maintain service quality.
• Collaborate with Medicaid/BHDID and agency leadership.
• Assist budgeting processes and monitor expenditures for service programs.
• Oversee IDD budget, monitoring, and compliance requirements.
• Participate in audits, site reviews, and quality assurance activities.
