State of Nevada is seeking licensed Professional Engineers to engage in the practice of professional engineering, including supervision of construction or operations in utilities, structures, buildings, machines, equipment, and projects wherein the public welfare or safeguarding of life, health or property is concerned.

These roles require independent control, direction, and initiative in applying engineering principles to complex data, with licensure as a Professional Engineer by the Nevada

Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices; application of calculus, algebra, geometry, statistics.
• Ability to prepare reports, memos and communicate information to others.
• Ability to analyze complex data and provide sound engineering judgments.

Responsibilities

• Current Licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• Plan, organize, schedule and oversee program/project activities.
• Attend public meetings and hearings to provide technical expertise.
• Write, review, negotiate and coordinate with consultants and contractors.
