NV Energy is seeking a senior civil/structural engineer to design substation and transmission facilities, ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget. The role involves high-level engineering, mentoring staff, and coordinating with stakeholders across Nevada.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Engineering, a PE license, and 15 years of relevant experience in utility-scale design, with strong knowledge of 345/500kV systems and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from accredited school.
• Must be a licensed PE and have extensive industry experience.
• Experience with civil/structural design for substation and transmission facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop substation civil/structural plans including grading, off-site improvements, drainage facilities, fencing and landscaping.
• Perform transmission line design calculations and route analysis; evaluate line design and conductor sag.
• Provide cost estimates and schedule input for budgeting and project control.
• Mentor staff, provide technical design review and direction to team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, codes and regulations.
