Work Environment

The position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in meeting the needs of clients while providing a healthy work-life balance. The clinic operates primarily Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to schedule your workflow within these parameters.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and clinical evaluations to understand clients' mental health and substance use issues.
• Develop personalized treatment plans integrating structured interventions tailored to individual client needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation using electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Monitor and track patient progress continually, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to improve outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with care teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be primarily focused on serving adults facing various challenges related to mental health and substance use disorders. You will engage with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, customizing treatment approaches to honor their unique experiences and needs. Your work will directly influence their mental well-being, fostering resilience and recovery through supportive counseling.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Active Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in the state of California.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting.
• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for therapy sessions and effectively documenting care electronically.
• Strong organizational skills coupled with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities and interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Previous experience working with community mental health organizations or in a telehealth environment.
• Ability to foster relationships with clients who may have complex needs and barriers to accessing care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary of USD 115,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
