Job summary

Arcare seeks a Licensed Counselor to conduct mental health assessments, determine care placement, and identify factors impacting a patient’s path to recovery. You will provide individual therapy to help clients recognize and manage mental health challenges that influence their recovery journey, while promoting access to personal mental health resources.

You will also facilitate group therapy sessions, offering patients a supportive space to address recovery-related concerns alongside peers.

Qualifications

• Masters's degree required.
• Active LPC or LCSW licensure in the state.
• Experience with telehealth and substance abuse treatment preferred.
• Experience with children and adolescent mental health services is a plus.
• Comfortable working with substance use patients and MAT.
