Arcare in Brookland, Arkansas is seeking a compassionate Physician to join our dedicated medical provider team. In this role you will diagnose and treat illnesses, provide high-quality medical services, and collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

The ideal candidate holds an MD or DO, has an Arkansas medical license, and CPR certification. Experience is preferred, and applicants must reside in the service area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, examination results, and treatment plans.
• Explain medical procedures, test results, and treatments to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, examination results, and treatment plans.

• Coordinate and direct activities of nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, social workers, rehabilitation therapists, pharmacists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
