Job summary

Community Guidance Center in Indiana is seeking a trauma-informed Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide direct clinical psychotherapy and indirect case management for adults and children.

You will deliver evidence-based individual, group, couples, and family therapy, with a focus on substance abuse counseling and the Sanctuary Model culture. The position offers four employment and pay structures, including full-time/part-time options and case-rate arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Services: Conduct assessments and deliver tailored psychotherapy using recognized modalities.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated, trauma-informed Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide comprehensive direct clinical psychotherapy and indirect case management for adult and child populations. In this role, you will deliver evidence-based individual, group, couples, and family therapy. You will specialize in substance abuse counseling and trauma-informed care utilizing the S.E.L.F. (Safety, Emotions, Loss, and Future) model.

Full-Time / Part-Time (Hourly or Salaried): Manage a dedicated, consistent caseload with structured weekly hours, regular administrative time, and a predictable schedule.

Full-Time Case Rate / Part-Time Case Rate: Maximize your earning potential with an autonomous, productivity-based compensation structure. This model is ideal for independent clinicians looking to manage their own schedules and scale your income directly based on your active client volume.

Core Responsibilities

Clinical Services: Conduct thorough clinical assessments, design proactive safety plans, and deliver tailored psychotherapy using recognized modalities.

Case Management: Complete and manage critical clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, case reviews, and insurance authorizations to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Collaboration & Consultation: Partner closely with our internal multidisciplinary treatment team and external community stakeholders (schools, agencies, and healthcare providers) to coordinate holistic care.

Compliance & Quality Assurance: Maintain strict adherence to federal, state, and Managed Care regulations. Uphold the highest ethical standards, fiscal requirements, and Best Practice Guidelines.

Sanctuary Model Culture: Actively participate in a supportive, trauma-informed work environment by practicing the seven Sanctuary commitments, including non-violence, emotional intelligence, open communication, and social responsibility.

Position Requirements

• License: Active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Experience: Experience treating adult and/or child populations; background in drug and alcohol counseling is highly preferred.
• Skills: Strong clinical writing for documentation, excellent communication skills, and high emotional intelligence.
