Job summary

Groups is seeking a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Albuquerque, NM to lead daily group therapy sessions and work within an integrated care team. The role emphasizes harm reduction, dignity, and client-centered care, with a hybrid work arrangement and a $4,000 sign-on bonus.

The counselor will collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches to support whole-person care, monitor outcomes, and promote community access to addiction treatment.

Qualifications

  • Active LPCC license and eligibility to practice in New Mexico.
  • At least two years leading group sessions in a SUD setting.
  • Proficient with EMR, telehealth tools and Google apps.

Responsibilities

  • Lead 3–4 one-hour, evidence-based group therapy sessions daily.
  • Facilitate meaningful discussions and adapt modalities to clients.
  • Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators and recovery coaches.
  • Monitor client progress and document outcomes.
  • Create a welcoming, harm-reduction oriented environment.

What You'll Do:

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

  • An active license: LPCC
  • Minimum two years’ leading groups in a SUD setting.
  • High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc.
  • Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success.

Work Environment

  • Monday-Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. One day work from home.
  • In-person and telehealth group therapy sessions.
