Job summary

Groups Recover Together is seeking a Counselor to lead dynamic group therapy sessions and be a key part of our member-centered care teams. You will work in a mission-driven environment where compassion, integrity, and human connection drive real transformation.

You’ll conduct 3–4 one-hour sessions daily, collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches, and support a recovery-oriented environment while engaging in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission.

Qualifications

• Active clinical license or state-regulated certification (CADC, LPCA, CSW, LCSW, LPCC, LMHC, LPCC-S, LCADC, LISW).
• 2+ years experience leading groups in a substance use treatment setting.
• Tech-savvy with EMRs, telehealth platforms, and Google Workspace.
• Commitment to high-quality, compassionate care.
• Ability to work some evening hours to support member schedules.

Responsibilities

Salary Range $55,000–$70,000 annually *based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Work From Home)
• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches.

• Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission.

Qualifications

• Active clinical license or certification based upon state regulations CADC, LPCA, CSW, LCSW, LPCC, LMHC, LPCC-S, LCADC, LISW
