Groups in Albuquerque, New Mexico is seeking a Substance Use Counselor to lead dynamic group therapy sessions and be a vital part of our member-centered care teams. You’ll collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches; monitor member progress and document outcomes; and contribute to a recovery-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Active license or certification in social work or psychology as listed.
• Minimum two years leading groups in a substance use disorder setting.
• Familiar with EMR, Telehealth, Google Workspace and mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3-4 group therapy sessions daily with structured curriculum.
• Facilitate discussions using approved modalities within clinical framework.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 9a-7p

Pay: $50,000 - $75,000

*Dependent on licensure, tenure and experience.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Lead 3-4 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence-based curriculum.
• Facilitate group discussions using a "plug and play" approach from approved modalities to meet members where they are within the guardrails of our clinical framework.
• Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches.
• Monitor member progress and document outcomes.
• Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members.
• Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups mission.

Qualifications

• An active license or certification: LISW/LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, LPAT, psychologist and psychiatrist.
• Minimum two years' leading groups in a SUD setting.
• High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc.
• Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success.
• Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week up to 9pm as needed.
• Other preferred backgrounds, experience, and skills include: mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, medication assisted treatment or MAT.
