Substance Use Counselor

Location: Ohio - Remote

Overview

Salary range: $50,000-$70,000 per year (Based on experience and education)

Schedule: Mon - Thurs 10hrs shift

Responsibilities
  • Lead 3–4 one‑hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence‑based curriculum.
  • Facilitate group discussions using a “plug and play” approach from approved modalities to meet members where they are within the guardrails of our clinical framework.
  • Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches.
  • Monitor member progress and document outcomes.
  • Support a positive, recovery‑oriented environment for members.
  • Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission.
Qualifications
  • Licensure required: Must have an active, independent OH LCSW.
  • Licensure preferred: New Mexico LCSW.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience leading groups in a substance use treatment setting.
  • Tech‑savvy: comfortable with EMRs, telehealth platforms, and Google Workspace.
  • Commitment to high‑quality, compassionate care.
  • Ability to work some evening hours to support member schedules.
