Description of Work

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. This role involves performing routine practical nursing care under the supervision of a Professional Nurse or Nurse Supervisor.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Salary Range: $41,407 - $62,111

• Eligible for a $3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS.
• Additionally, positions are eligible for employee referral bonus program ($1,000).
• To be eligible for a sign-on bonus, the candidate must not have worked as a probationary, permanent, or time-limited employee in the last 12 months as an employee subject to the State Human Resources Act.
• Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.

Eligibility and Qualification Requirements

• Solid working knowledge of nursing techniques, procedures, theory, and practices, as well as sanitation, personal hygiene, and basic health and safety standards.
• Familiarity with proper medication dosages, their effects, and contraindications.
• Skilled in routine medical procedures such as basic wound care, cleaning and bandaging injuries, taking vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and weight, and collecting specimens.
• Competence in preparing and administering medications.
• Ability to guide and counsel subordinate staff on daily routines.
• Provide direct nursing care within the scope of practice.
• Accurately observe and evaluate patient conditions.
• Strong communication skills to instruct patients in routine medical care and interact effectively with patients and families both orally and in writing.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively to potentially life-threatening situations, while demonstrating a professional and caring approach.
