Job summary

Mercy is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care under supervision. The role emphasizes nursing process utilization, professional accountability, and coordination with other departments to support patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, an active LPN license in the state, and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Additional unit-specific certifications may be required within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (or equivalent experience with licensure).
• Current LPN license in the state of practice; must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – required within 30 days of hire.
• Additional certifications may be required based on unit (ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., IV Certification within 1 year).

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of licensed personnel.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.

Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Position Details:

Part Time: 24 hours per week

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (or equivalent experience with licensure).

• Licensure: Current LPN license in the state of practice; must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.

• Certifications:
