Job summary

Mercy is seeking an LPN to join our Fort Smith, AR team. The LPN will work under the RN to deliver patient-centered care, support treatment plans, monitor conditions, and assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education.

The role requires graduating from an accredited Practical Nursing program, a current LPN license in Arkansas, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Certifications such as BLS and IV may be required within specified timelines.

Position Details:

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.


• Current LPN license in the state of practice.


• New graduates and experienced LPNs encouraged to apply.


• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.

Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association) required within 30 days of hire.


• IV Certification required upon hire or within 3 months of hire, based on department requirements.


• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., or other unit-specific certifications) may be required based on assignment.
