Job summary

Family Guidance Centers, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Suburban Illinois behavioral health team. The role covers patient assessment through discharge in MAT and drug‑free programs, dispensing medications, and monitoring methadone dosages.

Start date ASAP. Travel may be required. Pay is $30.00 per hour. The organization offers health, vision, life insurance, EAP, and paid time off as part of a full time employment package.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in Behavioral Health Care or hospital setting.
• Good communication skills.
• General nursing basics and medical terminology knowledge.
• Knowledge of substance abuse pathology.
• Knowledge of all state and federal rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Processes patients from assessment to discharge in medications assisted treatment and drug free treatment programming.
• Dispenses all medication under procedures set forth by Family Guidance Centers, Inc.
• Monitors the appropriateness of methadone and medication dosages.
• Monitors the physical and mental health well‑being of patients and documents findings.
• Must be available to travel if needed.
