Job summary

PACS in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced LPN/LVN Nursing Supervisor to lead the nursing team and oversee day-to-day care for residents. This role ensures quality care in line with federal and state regulations and coordinates with the Director of Nursing to maintain facility standards.

The supervisor will direct nursing assistants, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in discharge planning while ensuring adherence to policy guidelines and safety procedures across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree and a current, active nursing license.
• Experience supervising nursing staff in a long-term care setting is preferred.
• Ability to interpret policies, coordinate care, and ensure compliance across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing assistants in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
• Maintain census, charts, and nursing service documentation; ensure timely reporting to the Business Office as required.
• Oversee discharge planning and coordination with physicians, residents, and families.
• Ensure adherence to the Nursing Service Procedures Manual and participate in quality assurance activities.
