Job summary

Seven Hills Foundation's Pediatric Center in Groton, MA is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide health care and medical support to students during classroom and therapy activities.

This role is ideal for a licensed nurse with a passion for pediatric care, interdisciplinary teamwork, and supporting children with developmental and medical complexities in an inclusive, school-based environment. Schedule: Mon–Fri 6:30am–3:00pm. Full benefits available.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) currently licensed.
• Associate degree in nursing required.
• 1–3 years of related experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork required.
• Pediatric care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health services during classroom and therapy sessions.
• Monitor daily student health and administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Collaborate with classroom and nursing teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control practices and maintain a safe environment.
• Communicate changes in medical needs, equipment trials, or care plans to the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide support to the Eating Skills program and aquatic therapy sessions.
• Accompany students on field trips and community outings as needed.
• Teach monthly health classes on nutrition, hygiene, and wellness.
