Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Mayo Correctional Institution in Mayo, Florida. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the supervision of RNs and medical staff, and must hold a valid LPN license with CPR certification.

Applicants must be able to obtain a security clearance, including drug screening and background checks. Shifts are 12 hours and will vary, reflecting the needs of the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required.
• CPR certification required or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the LPN scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff to respond to physical and behavioral health needs.
