Job summary

Interim HealthCare Brookings, SD is seeking a Pediatric LPN to provide in-home nursing care in the Brookings area. This PRN/part-time role offers flexibility with scheduling and caring for pediatric clients.

The position requires 6 months of LPN experience, SD license, CPR, two references, background check, and a valid driver’s license. Housing a supportive team and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Six months’ experience in a comparable Licensed Practical Nurse role.
• CPR certification, offered on site.
• Background check and drug screen completed.
• Driver’s License and current car insurance and 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Care for pediatric patients within their home.
• Examine patients, assess and report changes.
• Review, interpret and carry out physician orders.
• Administer medications and operate medical equipment.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Pay Rate: $32-$34 per hour, paid weekly

24/7 on call nurse from Interim Healthcare

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) job duties may include:

Care for pediatric patients within their home

Examine patients, conduct assessments, document condition and report changes

• Review, interpret, transcribe and carry out physician orders for patients
• Administer medication, operate medical equipment and maintain a safe environment

Qualifications:

Six months’ experience in a comparable Licensed Practical Nurse job classification, current South Dakota LPN license

• CPR certification, offered on site
• 2 professional references required
• Background check and drug screen completed
• Driver’s License and current car insurance and 18 years of age
