Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Orlando is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes for Full Time/ Part Time or PRN work in Orlando/Lake Nona.

Hourly Pay: $30 - $33hr. Tap into sign-on bonus as part of the opportunity to join our team in the Orlando area providing in-home nursing care.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice (Florida).
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyzes, and interprets data from health care team and documents nursing diagnoses.

Skills

LPN/LVN license

TB test or Chest X-Ray

BLS certification

1 year nursing experience (preferred)
