Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Orlando is seeking an LPN/LVN to provide private duty nursing in patients' homes in the Orlando/Lake Nona area. The role offers full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules with an hourly pay rate of $30–$33.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, delivering prescribed care, assessing patient changes, and documenting nursing diagnoses. Current LPN/LVN license, TB test, and valid BLS are required; one year of nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed LPN/LVN in the practicing state.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
