Job summary

Southern Health Partners Inc. is seeking a Licensed Nurse for night shift rotation at the Houston County Jail in Georgia. This full-time role supports inmate healthcare with compassionate, patient‑centered care and strict confidentiality.

You will administer medications, conduct assessments, document meticulously, and collaborate with custody and medical teams on a rotating 12-hour schedule from 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM, including every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Georgia nursing license or compact license
• Current CPR certification per requirements
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and assessment skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the healthcare team
• Availability to work 12-hour night shifts 5:45 PM–6:15 AM on rotating schedule, including every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care in a correctional healthcare setting
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols
• Conduct nursing assessments and monitor health status changes
• Respond to medical concerns and communicate changes to healthcare personnel
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation
