Southern Health Partners is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Shelby County Jail nursing team in Alabama. You will work on the night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, providing direct nursing care, administering medications, and monitoring patients in a structured, secure correctional setting.

Qualifications include an Alabama LPN license (or compact), CPR certification, and strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking abilities.

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting.

• Complete nursing assessments, document care, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to support continuity of care.

• Deliver compassionate care while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Alabama or a compact state that permits practice in Alabama.
• Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain it as required.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative healthcare team.
• Commitment to providing professional, compassionate patient care.
• Ability to work the assigned night rotation, including every other weekend.
