Job summary

Southern Health Partners is seeking a compassionate RN or LPN to join their team at the Calhoun County Jail in Alabama for 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM night shifts on a rotating 12-hour schedule. In this fixed-site role, you will provide direct nursing care, perform assessments, administer medications, maintain medical records, and coordinate with the jail health team to ensure safe, compliant patient care.

The position offers full-time hours, night and weekend shift differential, and benefits including

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in Alabama required.
• CPR certification required.
• Nursing experience preferred, including corrections setting a plus.
• Ability to work independently within a team and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting.
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols.
• Provide sick call, chronic care, and routine nursing services.
