Job summary

Riverbrook Healthcare Center is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work both short term rehabilitation and long-term care.

In conjunction with the Unit Director, the LPN utilizes a general understanding of nursing to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient needs are met. He/she assists in orienting and supervising staff, and manages daily unit operations per shift, taking on leadership roles as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Unit Director to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Assist in orientation and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Handle daily operations of the unit per shift and assume leadership responsibilities as needed.

Position Summary:

In conjunction with the Unit Director, the Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on per shift, unit level, and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.

Requirements:

1. The Licensed Practical Nurse must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing and must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
2. Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing
