Job summary

Comfort Creek Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care services.

Working with the Unit Director, the LPN develops and implements individualized patient care plans, mentors nursing staff, and helps run daily unit operations. Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing is preferred, and current LPN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing.
• Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing personnel on the unit; participate in daily operations per shift.
• Assist in orientation and support of staff; implement individualized Nursing Care Plans.

Comfort Creek Nursing and Rehab is hiring aLICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) to work both short term rehabilitation and long-term care.

Position Summary: In conjunction with the Unit Director, the Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on per shift, unit level, and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.

Requirements:

1. The Licensed Practical Nurse must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing and must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
2. Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing
