Job summary

Rivers Edge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Kentucky is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Supervisor to lead our nursing team. This leadership role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, staff development, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

You will supervise nursing staff, schedule care, coordinate with physicians and other departments, and mentor team members to foster growth.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Kentucky required or in process.
• BSN preferred with supervisory experience in healthcare.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage nursing staff according to standards and policies.
• Coordinate patient care by scheduling and assigning nursing staff.
• Evaluate nursing activities to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient services.
• Monitor patient care quality and assist with patient care as needed.
• Respond to complex, urgent, or emergent situations.
• Act as a liaison between staff, physicians, and other departments to facilitate effective communication.
• Mentor and develop nursing staff, promoting professional growth and training.

4. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
5. Proficiency in electronic medical records and healthcare software systems
