Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL seeks an LVN/LPN to provide direct and indirect patient care in the telemetry setting. Under RN supervision, you will help maintain safety and comfort and enhance the patient experience as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

This full-time, day-shift role offers a 7:00 am to 7:30 pm schedule with rotating weekends/holidays. A sign-on bonus is available, and the facility provides parking and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• LPN or LVN license required.
• IV certification and BW certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate within 90 days of hire and maintain current.
• Work experience in health care preferred.

Responsibilities

• The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services within telemetry under RN supervision.
• Work to maintain safety, patient comfort, and improve the overall patient experience in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care and improve the overall patient experience in the telemetry setting.
