Prime Healthcare St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a qualified LVN/LPN for Med-Surg / Telemetry on a full-time night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with rotating weekends and holidays.

The role requires an LPN/LVN license, IV and BW certifications within 90 days, BLS, ACLS certs, and healthcare experience. You will provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision, ensuring safety and comfort, and supporting the care team in a telemetry setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Current BLS certification on hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care and improve the overall patient experience in the telemetry setting.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.2. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.3. IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.4. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.5. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 90 days upon hire and maintain current.6. Work experience in health care preferred.
