Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation in North Carolina is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our care team. Shifts include 7am–7pm and 7pm–7am with every other weekend required.

An unrestricted LPN license is required, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time employees. We provide a new wage scale and comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision plans, a 401(k) with employer match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN license in good standing.
• Experience supervising nursing staff is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate care and communicate with physicians and families.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate nursing care on the unit to ensure quality care.
• Provide safe, accurate medication-related interventions.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders accurately.
• Notify physicians of status changes and update orders as needed.
• Develop and implement care plans based on assessments.

Job Summary

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care/services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants and other staff.
• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff are capable of providing appropriate care to them.
• Provide safe and accurate medication related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Notify the physician of changes in status and promptly implement and document new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions that might be required to stabilize a resident’s condition and/or prevent complications.

Contribute to the resident’s assessment and the development of a care plan.
