Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation in North Carolina is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our patient care team. Shifts are 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am with every other weekend; applicants must hold an unrestricted LPN license and are offered a $3,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employment.

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the LPN will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, supervise CNAs, administer medications, and participate in care plan development to support

Qualifications

• Must hold an unrestricted LPN license.
• Experience supervising CNAs and coordinating nursing care is preferred.
• Ability to provide safe, accurate medication-related interventions and document orders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate nursing care on the unit and ensure staff competence.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders accurately.
• Notify physician of status changes and update orders accordingly.
• Develop and implement a plan of care based on assessments.

Job Summary

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care/services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants and other staff.
• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff are capable of providing appropriate care to them.
• Provide safe and accurate medication related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Notify the physician of changes in status and promptly implement and document new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions that might be required to stabilize a resident’s condition and/or prevent complications.

Contribute to the resident’s assessment and the development of a care plan.
