The role includes planning and directing work, evaluating performance, and coordinating staffing to meet resident needs. Minimum 1–2 years of long-term care nursing experience is preferred, with an active LPN license and CPR certification.

• Minimum 1–2 years nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute settings preferred.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work to meet resident needs and staffing levels.
• Prepares and adjusts assignments based on staffing and safety considerations.
• Receives staffing calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Transfers staff between units per demand and workload.
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs.
• Adjusts break schedules and addresses staff concerns.
• Use independent judgment in line with policies and laws.

This role provides clinical supervision to nursing assistants, ensures continuity of care, and serves as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.

Education and/or Experience:

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Current state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment
