Job summary

Ciena Healthcare is seeking an LPN Supervisor to oversee resident care on assigned shifts, supervising CNAs/STNAs and coordinating staffing in compliance with regulations and facility policy. This role provides clinical supervision and serves as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws

This role provides clinical supervision to nursing assistants, ensures continuity of care, and serves as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.
