Ciena Healthcare in Michigan seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to supervise and coordinate resident care on assigned shifts. You will direct CNAs/STNAs, ensure continuity of care, and serve as a resource for residents, families, and staff.

Requirements include 1–2 years in long-term or sub-acute care, and an active LPN license with CPR certification (or CPR within 90 days). Sign-on bonus up to $16,000.

Responsibilities

• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing, overseeing and coordinating the delivery of resident care during assigned shifts in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policy under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing/designee. This role provides clinical supervision to nursing assistants, ensures continuity of care, and serves as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.
