Christian Park Healthcare Center Careers in Escanaba, MI, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to oversee resident care during assigned shifts under the Director of Nursing. You will supervise CNAs, ensure care continuity, and serve as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.

We offer competitive pay of $34.78–$40.03 per hour, comprehensive benefits, a $12,000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, and tuition and student loan reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care
• Plans, assigns, and directs work to meet resident needs and staff capabilities
• Prepares work assignments and adjusts for staffing levels and resident safety
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
• Use independent judgment in line with company policies and applicable laws

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing, overseeing and coordinating the delivery of resident care during assigned shifts in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policy under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing/designee. This role provides clinical supervision to nursing assistants, ensures continuity of care, and serves as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.
