Job summary

Ciena Healthcare operates Christian Park Village, a skilled nursing facility in Michigan. We are seeking an LPN Supervisor to oversee resident care across shifts, providing clinical supervision and ensuring continuity of care under the Director of Nursing.

You will guide CNAs/STNAs and coordinate staffing to meet resident needs with a focus on safety. The role requires 1–2 years nursing experience in long-term care, an active LPN license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute settings.
• Current state license to practice as an LPN.
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands.
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs.
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

The LPN Supervisor is responsible for providing, overseeing and coordinating the delivery of resident care during assigned shifts in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policy under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing/designee. This role provides clinical supervision to nursing assistants, ensures continuity of care, and serves as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.
