Job summary

Ciena Healthcare is seeking an LPN Supervisor to lead and coordinate resident care on assigned shifts in a Michigan facility. You will supervise CNAs/STNAs, ensure continuity of care, and act as a key resource for residents, families, and staff in accordance with regulations and facility policy.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• Current CPR certification or CPR within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs.
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns.
• Uses independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

The LPN Supervisor is responsible for providing, overseeing and coordinating the delivery of resident care during assigned shifts in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policy under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing/designee. This role provides clinical supervision to nursing assistants, ensures continuity of care, and serves as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.
