Job summary

Merakey is seeking a School Licensed Practical Nurse for our Mt Pleasant, PA program. The role ensures standard precautions, incident reporting, medication dispensing, and safety policy adherence under supervision of the program director.

The ideal candidate is a PA-licensed LPN (or RN) with a strong interest in working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. Hourly pay is $27 with a school-day schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN nursing program with current Pennsylvania license.
• Proof of LPN certification renewals required.
• One year of LPN experience preferred.
• Genuine interest in working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure standard precautions are followed.
• Manage incident reporting and critical event reporting.
• Dispense medications and ensure proper storage and safety policies.
• Work under direct supervision of the program director.

Position Details:

The school Nurse will ensure standard precautions, incident management/critical event reporting, medication dispensing, and storage and safety policies and procedures are followed. The School Health Nurse is a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse, under the direct supervision of the school Program Director.
