Qualifications

• A current and valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.

Job description

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in ourCrafton, PAlocation. This nurse will act as the Transport Nurse andwill accompany medical necessary clients to hospitals, outside providers and on trips and outings.

Earn

$29 per hour with benefits or #31 per hour with the selection of enhanced pay and scaled back benefits.

Schedule:

M - F 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM

Additional Position Details

OurLicensed Practical Nurseinteract and support our adults in a variety of potential settings and provide a level of care that enhances the health, safety, dignity, and contentment of every individual served by assisting and training them in the areas of personal care, communication, and social skill development. In addition, most of the people we serve have multiple physical disabilities, extensive medical complications and may require supports for challenging behaviors.This position is located in our PHMC facility that operates as a 45-50 bed location.

Program Details

Merakey AVS is a non-profit organization which provides homes and a full range of services to adults with all levels of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The majority of the nearly 800 individuals that we support are diagnosed with severe or profound IDD. In addition, most of the people we serve have multiple physical disabilities, extensive medical complications and may require supports for challenging behaviors.
