Job summary

The Lodge at Mills River is a 50-bed skilled nursing facility located in Mills River, NC between Asheville and Hendersonville. We are currently seeking full-time, part-time, and PRN RN or LPN to join our night shift from 7pm-7am. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Part-time and PRN positions are also available. Applicants must hold an unrestricted RN or LPN license with CPR certification. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, you will plan, coordinate, provide, and manage nursing

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Unrestricted RN or LPN eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for residents on the unit, ensuring staff can provide appropriate care.
• Provide safe and accurate medication interventions.
• Transcribe and coordinate physician orders accurately.
• Perform nursing assessments and notify physician of changes, implementing new orders.
• Develop and execute a care plan based on assessments.
• Institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize conditions and prevent complications.
• Supervise CNAs and other staff delivering care.

Job description

The Lodge at Mills River is a 50-bed skilled nursing facility with 38 private rooms. We are located in Mills River, North Carolina (NC) between Asheville and Hendersonville, NC. The Lodge is currently looking for a Full Time, Part Time and PRN RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our team of dedicated health care professionals from 7pm-7am. The Lodge has full-time night shift positions available. WE are currently offering a $5,000 sign on bonus! Part-time and PRN also available.

Applicant must have unrestricted RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse).

Current CPR Certification

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.

• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff are capable of providing appropriate care to them.
• Provide safe and accurate medication related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents. Notify the physician of changes in status and promptly implement and document new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions that might be required to stabilize a resident’s condition and /or prevent complications.
• Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
