Job summary

UP Health System - Marquette, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring a Clinic LPN for our Medical Specialists team. This full-time, 0.8 FTE position offers an 8-hour day schedule and a $7,500 sign-on bonus eligibility.

As a Clinic LPN, you will collect patient intake data, maintain records, support patients with holistic care, perform routine clinic tasks, and assist with assessments under a physician's supervision.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN in Michigan (MI) and graduate of an LPN/LVN program.
• BLS-HCP certification required.
• BCLS Trainer and Specimen Collection experience is for Occupational Medicine only.

Responsibilities

• Collects and documents patient intake data and maintains accurate records.
• Provides patient support reflecting emotional, physical, social, cultural, religious, and economic considerations.
• Assists with routine clinic support activities.
• Acts as an advocate for the patient’s physical and emotional well-being.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic clinic environment per policy.
• Assists with patient assessments and treatments under physician supervision.

A Clinic LPN who excels in this role will:

What we are looking for

Applicants should have a state of Michigan LPN license and have graduated from an LPN or LVN Program.

Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
• BCLS Trainer and Specimen Collection (For Occupational Medicine only)
