Job summary

Sumter Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) at York, AL. Base pay is $27.05–$29.55 per hour, plus a $3.00/hour night shift differential and weekend shift uplift, on 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Alabama LPN license in good standing is required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and coordinate resident care during the shift.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.

Shift: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM | 12-Hour Shifts

Shift Differential: +$3.00/hour for night shift and all weekend shift hours

Sumter Health & Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our night shift nursing team.

As an LPN, you'll provide hands-on nursing care, support CNAs, and work alongside our nursing team to provide quality, compassionate care throughout the night.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and coordinate resident care during the shift.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition.
• Supervise and support CNAs on the assigned unit.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing – REQUIRED.
