Job summary

Sumter Health & Rehabilitation in York, AL is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our night shift team. Shifts run 7:00 PM–7:00 AM on a 12-hour schedule, with a $3.00/hour differential for night and weekend hours.

You will provide hands-on nursing care, support CNAs, and collaborate with the nursing team to ensure high-quality, compassionate care throughout the night. Eligible candidates hold an Alabama LPN license in good standing and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama LPN license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and coordinate resident care during the shift.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition.
• Supervise and support CNAs on the assigned unit.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Base Pay: $27.05-$29.55 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM | 12-Hour Shifts

Shift Differential: +$3.00/hour for night shift and all weekend shift hours
