This LPN position involves both direct care and supervisory responsibilities for caregivers. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for supervising nursing staff, coordinating care delivery within the scope of practice, and ensuring residents' needs are met according to professional standards, physician orders, facility policies, and applicable regulations.

Skills: Ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment; must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly.
Experience: 2-3 years of clinical experience; gerontological nursing, including dementia care, preferred.
License: Must hold a valid and current LPN/LVN license in the state.
Physical Demands: Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for extended periods; ability to push, pull, and lift up to 20 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 50 pounds unassisted; full use of upper and lower extremity motor skills.
