Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Med/Surg assignment in Lewiston, Maine, with nights as the shift. The role involves bedside care, monitoring vitals, med administration, IV therapy, and collaboration with RNs and physicians to support efficient patient throughput.

Requirements include LPN/LVN license, IV and BW certifications, and a current BLS. At least one year of Med-Surg experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification on hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside patient care in Med-Surg.
• Monitor vital signs and clinical status.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support care plans and patient throughput.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control and compliance.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

Location: Lewiston, Maine

Department: Med Surg

Shifts Available: Nights

Pay: up to $1,680 - $2,100 gross pay per week; equivalent to $40.00–$50.00 per hour.

Assignment Length: 12 weeks

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.


• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required


• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.


• One (1) year of LPN Med Surg experience required.
