Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Med-Surg unit in Lewiston, Maine. The role supports bedside patient care, monitors vitals, administers medications, and collaborates with RNs and physicians. Night shifts available with a 12-week assignment and weekly pay.

Qualifications include an active LPN/LVN license, IV and BW certification, and a current BLS. Prior Med-Surg experience preferred; commitment to patient safety and documentation in EMR/EHR systems

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside patient care in Med-Surg.
• Monitor vitals and patient status.

• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient safety and infection control.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

Location: Lewiston, Maine

Department: Med Surg

Shifts Available: Nights

Pay: up to $1,680 - $2,100 gross pay per week; equivalent to $40.00–$50.00 per hour.

Assignment Length: 12 weeks

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.


• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required


• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.


• One (1) year of LPN Med Surg experience required.
